Iakovos Sax-Lane (b. 2005) is an emerging Greek filmmaker and visual artist. He developed a technical and creative background working with images, as well as a range of physical mediums from an early age, exhibiting across multiple galleries in Athens. His background continues to mould a visceral, tactile approach to filmmaking, where he relies on the elements, rugged landscapes, and metaphysics to inform his storytelling. He is currently completing his filmmaking studies in London, specialising in directing. His first fiction short film, Imago, premiered at DISFF '49 and is currently in active festival submission.

He is currently in pre-production for his first documentary short, Halite Thunder, and in development for his second fiction short, Anáclasi.

Iakovos is seeking EU & UK production partners.
